James Bottenley fell from the top of a pile driver at Iowa City on the 3rd inst. His skull was fractured and he received other injuries. He was taken to the university hospital where he died on the 14th. His remains arrived at Nichols that day and were taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bottemley of Pike township, where the funeral services were held Saturday afternoon.
