Mrs. Dena Hildebrand Willmering was born in Oldenberg, Germany, May 1845. She married Henry Willmering in Germany in 1869. To them seven children were born, four of whom survive. These are: Henry Jr, Chicago; Dena, Chicago; Frank A, St Louis and Leo S, Omaha, all of who were present at the funeral services. Mrs. Willmering had been ailing with a nervous affliction since 1885 and was a patient in the hospital at Mt. Pleasant since that time. She was a devout Catholic and was buried according to the rites of that church. She was a highly educated woman owing to the fact that an uncle was a bishop and a brother a priest in the church, both in Germany. She was buried from the Catholic church of this place yesterday and interred in the Columbus City cemetery. Services were conducted by Father Houser, yesterday.
