Mrs. Lee C. Johnston's death occurred at her home, near Cotter, Monday night. Only last Christmas she, then Miss Clara Allen, of near Cairo, became the bride of Lee C. Johnston and the young couple took up their abode at once on the farm where she died. Mrs Johnston was the daughter of Joseph Allen, of near Cairo where she was born March 19, 1877. The funeral was held yesterday from the late home, conducted by her former pastor, Rev. J. S. Taylor. She was buried at the Cairo cemetery beside friends of hers who had gone before.
