Wm. Boyd, whose death was announced last week, was born in County Down, Ireland July 3, 1826. Came to this country in the fall of 1859 settling first with his two brothers at Champaign county, Ohio. He and these two brothers, James and Henry came to Iowa in 1865 and made this his home until death. The two brothers survive him, James living at Washington and Henry northeast of Ainsworth. Funeral services from St. James Catholic church; burial in Elm Grove cemetery.
