Cora Day, aged about 18, who was severely kicked by a horse last Saturday, died last night at 10 o'clock at the home of N. Grosjean, In Louisa County, Where she was taken after being found lying in the road in an unconscious condition. Death was the result of the injuries sustained by the young woman. She leaves besides her parents, two sisters and eight brothers, all residing in Fruitland township, this county, to mourn her taking off. The funeral was held this afternoon at 1 o'clock and was largely attended. Interment was made in Fruitland cemetery. It seems that Miss Day was working for L. Leiberknecht of this county and was riding the horse for a visit over Sunday with her parents. It is not know exactly how she received the injury, but she was probably thrown from her horse and kicked or trampled on.
