Mr. M. Maiden, near Cairo died ? night last, of injuries from a accident. His horse and wagon were out of control. Mr. Maiden jumped to the ground breaking the bones in the leg above the ankle and cutting through the flesh. He was in intense suffering until he died. Mr. Maiden was about 45 years of age and had been a resident of the area all his life. He leaves a wife and two children. The funeral will be held from the residence, 11 a. m. October 20. Services conducted by Rev. Mullen, of Columbus City.
