John Clemons, an old and well know resident of this county, died at his home 3 1/2 miles west of Crawforsville Tuesday night. Last Thursday while gathering apples in his orchard, he fall from a tree and broke several ribs and received other bad injuries from the fall. Being about 70 years of age and could not survive the shock and passed away Tuesday night. He has been a resident of Iowa for about forty years and leaves a wife and four children.
