Spring Run, May 5-Mrs. Mattie Greene died Monday. She was a patient sufferer over a year. She was raised near Cairo and married G. W. Greene about 21 years ago. She leaves, besides her husband and many sorrowing relatives, nine sons and three daughters. The funeral took place from the Prairie Chapel, conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. H. Perdew. Interment at Morning Sun cemetery.
