Cairo, Feb. 24- Dr. Smyth, of Keokuk, was called to this place on Friday evening to attend the funeral of his mother who died suddenly that morning. The services were held at Cairo Bethel, where she was a member of the church of God for a number of years. Services were conducted by Rev. Perdue, of the Methodist church, whose remarks were very appropriate for the occasion.
