Bard, March 1- Died at her home in Chicago, Feb. 22, 1896, Mrs. Mary Bouton, age 58 years, 2 months and 13 days. After three months of pain and suffering her earthly journey was ended. She leaves an only son and his family and a husband to mourn. Also three brothers and two sisters, Samuel and William Ludlow of Scott county, Kansas, and Mrs. Emily Boden, Mrs. A. Donaldson and Mr. A. Ball of this this neighborhood.

Funeral services were held in Chicago before leaving, and a short services here at the Long Creek church. She was laid to rest in the long creek cemetery beside her parents and little son. She was born in Indiana and came here while quite young. She spent nearly 50 years in Louisa county before going to Chicago.
