Florence F. Dowson was born April 10, 1872 and died February 23, 1896. Last fall she was taken sick with typhoid fever, and from that an abscess formed in the bowels which ultimately caused her death by blood poisoning. She was of a quiet, home-loving disposition, and will greatly missed by her aged father for whom she had acted as housekeeper since the death of her mother. She leaves a number of brothers and sisters, being the youngest of a large family. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church yesterday at 2 p. m. conducted by Rev. W. R. Williams assisted by Rev. A. B. Cooper. Interment at Indian creek cemetery.
