Died June 28, 1895, in Columbus City township, Louisa county, Iowa, Mrs. Lizzie Johnston, wife of Chas. N. Johnston. Deceased was born in Washington county, Iowa, in 1869, being 26 years of age at the the time of her death. She was the daughter of A. D. Atchison. Was married, March 12, 1891. The funeral was conducted at her home by Rev. Greer, who also united her in marriage. Her funeral was very largely attended and was pathetic beyond description. Her infant child being buried with her. Besides her husband she leaves a little girl 3 years old.
