Edna, the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Williamson of Jefferson township, died at the home of her parents, at 10 o'clock, a. m. Tuesday, May 15. Her sickness was of short duration, as she was at her regular place in school Friday before her death. Her disease, peritonitis. She leaves besides her parents, three sisters and one brother to mourn her untimely death. Her funeral, which occurred on Wednesday last was attended by an immense throng of friends and neighbors. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Condit. At her funeral, her three favorite songs were sung by the young friends present. These were: "Nearer, my God to Thee", "Jesus Lover of my Soul", and "Wait meekly wait; and Murmur not." The pall bearers were, the Misses Hortie Herrick, Zell Leamon, Mary McChesney, America Beane, Kittie Grimes and Blanche Jamison. The parents and friends have the sincere sympathy of all in their sad affliction.
