OBITUARY.

Elder Henry Murray was born in Chester county, Pennsylvania, August 28, 1815, and departed this life in Cairo, October 27, 1891, aged seventy -six years, on month and twenty-nine days. He was a resident of this county since 1855. He embraced religion fifty-six years ago and was a regular licensed preacher of the Church of God for fifty-three years. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss, whole five children have preceded him to that land beyond the river. A large concourse of relatives and sympathizing friends followed his remains to their last resting place in the Cairo cemetery. The funeral was conducted by Elder J. M. Mullen, assisted by Elder John LaCornu.
