Bayard Mickey died at Lincoln, Neb., Monday, April 20, 1891. He was born in this county in 1849, and was a son of the late H. H. Mickey, one of our earliest settlers. The remains were brought back to Fredonia for interment. funeral occurred Wed, the 22nd inst, at 2 o'clock p. m., services conducted by Rev. Chew. Mr. Mickey left no family, his wife having died just a month before him. He had been afflicted with general paralysis about four month, resulting in his death. He removed from Henry county, this state, to Nebraska some fifteen years ago, since which time he has made his home on a farm five miles south of Lincoln.
