Daniel Thomas, a native of Wales, but a resident of Wapello since 1854, died a week ago. He was the father of D.C. Thomas, the grocer and Mrs. Charles Warren of Wapello, also several younger children. We knew him as a quiet citizen, a good neighbor and kind father.
