OBITUARY.

A. P. Clough died at his home in this city, Thursday evening, December 19, at 8:30 o'clock. His disease was pneumonia. he had been sick only a little over a week. He leaves a wife and four little children. Mr. Clough was born in Vermont in February, 1858, which would make him at the time of his death, a little less, thirty-two years old. For many years he had been in very poor health, which made him a more ready victim to the ravages of the disease that proved fatal. He was a member of the M. E. church and died in the full confidence of a better life beyond. His funeral, which occurred Sunday, at 2 o'clock p. m., from the Methodist church, was conducted by the K. P. fraternity, of which he was a member. The wife and children will return with her mother to Illinois, we are informed. Expressions of sympathy for her and her and her little ones, are heard on every hand.
