OBITUARY.
Anna Caroline Stapp was born in Lehigh county, Pennsylvania, May 28, 1823 and died at her homestead near Clifton, Iowa, July 8th, 1889. She was married to Jonas Deihl, who died in this place August last, in January 1, 1841. With him she moved to Iowa in 1855, and resided here continuously since. To them were born three children, two whom, a boy and a girl died in infancy, the other Horace Deihl, .?. She died from cancerous .?. with which she had been suffering for three years. She had been a member of the Reform church since the age of sixteen. the remains were interred int he Columbus City cemetery. Rev. Peale conducted .?.
