DIED- At her residence in the Welsh neighborhood, near the Harrington county line on Monday evening, June 19, Mrs. Catharine Evans. Mrs. Evans was an early settler here having come from Wales to this part of the county in 1852. The funeral occurred Wednesday, services being conducted by the Rev. J. E. Jones. a very large concourse of her neighbors accompanied the remains to their last resting place, in the beautiful Welsh cemetery. She had been a consistent member of the Congregational church a great many years and died with the true Christian's assurance of a better life beyond.
