Fred Kurz Dies Suddenly

A heart attack Tuesday morning claimed the life of Fred Kurz, well known Morning Sun farmer. Mr. Kurz died very suddenly at about 10’oclock Tuesday morning as he was preparing to leave for Burlington. He had not been in good health for several months. Kurz, about 65 years old, had lived his entire life on the home farm southwest of Morning Sun. He was the son of Charles and Alvina Tiedemann Kurz.

On September 12, 1948 he was married to Alice Auwaerter who survives as does one sister, Mrs. Freda Spohn of Hammon, Indiana.

Funeral services are to be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church with the Rev. O. L. Byrns of Warrensburgh, Missouri, in charge. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
