Harvey Reid, 79, 1207 1/2 Hershey Avenue, Muscatine, died Tuesday, April 22, 1986 at Muscatine General Hospital.

Mr. Reid was born March 12, 1907, in Wapello, a son of William and Sarah HOUTZ REID. He was a life resident of the area. His marriage to Clara DEWALT took place June 30, 1937 at Wapello. He was of hte Methodist faith. He had retired from Keller Ladder in 1976.

Surviving are his wife; two grandhcildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, James H. REID of Grandview and Marion REID of Columbus Junction; three sisters, Vinnie DRAYFAHL of Coralville, Nancy WAGNER of Columbus Junction and Beckey ACKMAN of Illinois City.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.

Services: Geo. M. WIttich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine
Burial: Conesville Cemetery.
