Violet Marie Colvin, age 93, formerly of Wapello, died Sunday morning March 12, 1995 at the Morning Sun Care Center. The daughter of Willis and Delcie Warnstaff Diller, she was born December 20, 1901 at Fredonia, IA. She married Chester Colvin on July 3, 1926, 1970, She was a homemaker, a member of the United Methodist Church and the UMW of Wapello, the Rebekah Lodge of Wapello, the Pine Club and the Louisa County Historical Society.

Survivors include a sister Dorothy Diller of Columbus Junction; a brother Roy Diller of Muscatine; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester; three sisters; and three brothers.
