Word was received last Saturday of a terrible accident at Homewood, Kansas in which two former Morning Sun citizens were the victims. John McIntyre and John Montgomery were struck by a train as they were driving across the track. Mr. Montgomery was instantly killed, his neck being broke. Mr. McIntyre was badly injured and the last report from his bedside was that he had rallied somewhat. Mr. McIntyre is a brother of Mrs. J. W. Glasgow of this place, and Mr. Montgomery a brother of Wm. Montgomery of Washington.
