Death of William Frazier.

William Frzier, a brother of Elliott Frazier of this city, died at his home in Knoxville, Iowa, Monday after an illness extending over some weeks. The remains were brought to this city yesterday, noon, and the funeral held from the residence of Mr. Elliott Frazier at 3:30 p.m., Rev. J. P. Nesbit conducting the services. The interment was made in Elmwood cemetery. The deceased’s wife, and sons George and James, and grand-daughter, Bessie Cummings of Knoxville, came with the remains and were present at the last sad funeral rites, being joined by another son, A. L. Frazier, and wife of Newport. A forth son, John Frazier, of Danville, Ill., did not arrive in time, reaching here last evening.

Mr. Frazier was born in Ohio in 1825. He leaves a widow, four sons and two daughters to mourn his death. He was a veteran of the civil war, serving in the First Iowa Battery. He was a consistent member of the United Presbyterian church, becoming a communicant in 1847, when that church was known as the Associate Reformed.

Mr. and Mrs. Frazier resided in Morning Sun for a time, moving to Knoxville five or six years ago.
