Thursday, 1 March 1900, page 3COLUMBUS JUNCTION. Feb. 27.—Mr. Alexander Albaugh and wife, who were taken violently sick with pneumonia about one week ago have both died. Mrs. Nancy Albaugh nee Foster) Friday night in the fifty-seventh year of her age, and on Saturday night Mr. Albaugh, being about sixty years of age. They both were born in Ohio and come with their parents to Iowa when quite young and settled in Union township, Louisa county, where they were married and lived previous to coming to this city, where they have lived for several years. They had four children, two girls and two boys, all married, who were summoned to the parental home during their sickness! The funeral was held Monday from their late residence presided over by Rev. D. R. Fouse, of the Reformed church; interment in the Foster cemetery on the Iowa bluff. The bereaved children and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in this sad affliction.
