Columbus. Jct. – Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Stacy Lewis Funeral Home for Thomas Robert Jones, 85, who died at 2:50 p.m. Sunday at University Hospital, Iowa City. Burial will be in the Cambrian Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born May 28, 1891, at Penarbrymian, Wales, the son of Thomas and Jane (Jones) Jones. He was a retired farmer, veteran of World War II, 50 year member of the Allen Wright Hanft American Legion Post 100 and a member of the Central Welsh Choir, Chicago, and the Salem United Presbyterian church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother
