Dead Body Found – Supposed to Be That of John Clement Who Disappeared from Wapello.

Oakville, Iowa, March 26 – The body of an unknown man was discovered by Jim Ricer, of this city, about one-half mile east of the Iowa river bridge. The man was apparently 5½ feet in height. The body was badly decomposed. It wore brown clothes, one gold filled tooth above, one tooth gone below: wore a white shirt; black four-in-hand necktie, no shoes, red silk handkerchief in one pocket, white handkerchief in the other pocket. It is thought by some to be the body of John Clement, who wandered away from Wapello, February 8, 1899.
