Mrs. Idella Wyerman received word of the death of her brother, Charles A. Duryea, 84, September 18 at his home in Seattle, Washington.

Charles Arthur, son of Thomas and Harriett Fox Duryea, was born February 15, 1861, near Burlington. He was married to Anna Thomas May 16, 1886. She died in 1932.

He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Nell D. Henry and Mrs. Ione D. Eller of Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Eleanor E. Elder of Tacoma, Washington; one son, Charles B. Duryea, of Portland, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Lynn of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. Idella Wyerman of Morning Sun; and one brother, G. P. Duryea of Raymond, Washington; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Duryea was a millwright by trade and was employed for a number of years at South Bend, Washington. He was a member of Lodge No 48, A.F. & A.M. of South Bend, Washington. Funeral and burial were in the west.
