Padilla, Arturo, T. - The Wapello Republican, September 25, 2014.

Arturo Teodoro Padilla, 82, passed away on August 31, at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico following an illness.
Arturo was born on May 18, 1932 in Puerto De Luna, NM to the home of Jose and Rebecca Padilla. He was reared and attended schools in Puerto De Luna and Santa Rosa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Esther Padilla and his ex-wife Violet Parks and his brother, Benny Padilla.
Survivors include his daughters, Rosa Christina Matheson and husband Arlen of Simi Valley, California and Theresa Padilla of Rancho, Cucamonga, California; his sisters, Sylvia Sanchez and husband Secundino of Albuquerque and Christina Lopez and husband Joe of Whittier, California; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family from Iowa.
Rosary services will be held on Saturday, September 6, at 10:00 a.m. from Nuestra Senora de Refugio Church in Puerto De Lunda with Mass of Christian Burial to follow after the rosary with Father Thomas Kayammakal officiating. Burial will follow at Nuestra Senora de Refugio Cemetery in Puerto De Luna. Serving as pallbearers will be Herman Padilla, Benny Padilla, Fred Sanchez, John Lovato, Christ Cooper, Joe Lopez and Pete Lopez.
