Kenneth Brockert

Kenneth Arthur Brockert, age 75, formerly of Columbus Junction [Iowa], died Friday afternoon, December 5, 2003, at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Davenport [Iowa]. The son of Irvin John and Opal Finley Brockert, he was born June 17, 1928, in Muscatine County, Iowa. He was a farmer.

Survivors include four brothers, Harold of Wapello [Iowa] and Keith, Harry and Benny, all of Muscatine [Iowa]; a sister, Delores Duncan of Fredonia [Iowa]; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ruby and Doris.

The graveside service was Wednesday afternoon at the Harrison Cemetery, rural Wapello [Iowa]. The pallbearers were Kevin Duncan, Scott Mangold, Brian Brockert, Steve Brockert, Jimmy Brockert, and Robbie Howard.

The family gathered to meet with friends Tuesday evening at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been established.
