Kathryn Holmes Neyland of Baytown, Texas, was relieved of her earthly burdens, Thursday, July 11, 2013. She donated her body, which helped to improve the lives of 36 people.

Kathy was born April 29, 1952, in Olathe, Kansas. She married Steve Neyland who survives her with their children; Tanya Neyland-Page and Chad Neyland, and four grandchildren; Cailun Neyland-Fite and Mason Page and Sarah and Nathan Neyland.Grandma Kathy was looking forward to a soon to be born, great-grandson.

Also surviving are siblings: Robert Greer of Columbus Junction; Hank Wingate of San Diego, CA; Karen Burton of Oceanside, CA; Denise Jarnol of Michigan; and Opal Wingate of Independence, MO.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Thomas Stowell of Independence, MO, and Michael Johnson of Grand Saline, Texas.

Kathy was a good-hearted person who would help anyone in need. She and Steve were very involved in Veteran’s organizations in every way they could.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 in Houston, Texas.
