Edward “Ed” Pendell – Morning Sun News-Herald, Thursday, January 13, 2013 accompanied by a photo.

Edward ‘Ed’ Dallas Pendell, 55, of Morning Sun, died Tuesday morning, January 22, 2013, at his home. The son of Elmer and Marian Malcom Pendell, he was born on September 19, 1957. Ed married Tonya Sue Knight on May 11, 2002 in Oakville.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and mushroom hunting.

His family includes his wife, Tonya; a son, Nathan Pendell of Lincoln, Nebraska; two daughters, Trista Pendell of Bethel, Pennsylvania, and Kayla Pendell of Meyerstown, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren; his mother, Marian Meyers of Tecumseh, Nebraska; a sister, Kathy and Dale Whitaker of Oakville; a brother, Mike and Teri Pendell of Beatrice, Nebraska; two step-children, Dallas Crill and Krystal Crill both of Morning Sun; and nieces and nephews including Doug Whitaker, Monica Guegler and Lance Whitaker.

A celebration gathering was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun.

There was no other visitation. Cremation followed a private viewing.
