Obituary.
Mrs.'Lottie Woods, wife of Prof. A.
D. Woods, was born in Louisa county,
la., Sept. 22d, '65, and died in Oskaloosa,
Ta., July 30, '90. Mrs. Woods was
the daughter of Richard KBIT, of this
place, and here she spent the greater
portion of her life. She was united in
marriage to Prof. Woods, Sept. 23d,
'85. After spending one summer on a
farm near Denmark, Lee county, they
moved to Oskaloosa, where Mr. Woods
has been engaged in teaching music.
The last sickness was but of short duration
and tho immediate cause of
death was heart failure. The funeral
occurred in tho M. E. church at this
place, Friday, services conducted . by
Rev. Campbell, the interment taking
place in the Concord cemetery. Two
children, with the husband and many
relatives, mourn the loss of a dear one
