Patricia Johnson, 61, of rural Columbus Junction, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family and nurse, Sandi Smith.

Funeral services were Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Rev. Jean Wollenberg officiated. Casket bearers were Jack Robertson, Roy Robertson, Jason Stewart, Nick Johnson, Tony Cox and Kyle Rossman. Honorary casket bearers were Brock Smith, Hunter Hamilton, Jamie Stewart, Jeremy Smith, Dustin Johnson, Brandon Philips, Clint Colbert, Bill Hingst and Wes Smith. Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation was held on Sunday, March 10th from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the funeral home. Patricia Elizabeth Pfister was born on April 15, 1951 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Alvin and Jeanne (Hancock) Pfister. On October 20, 1984 she was united in marriage to Randy Johnson in Iowa City. With her husband, Patricia owned Pat and Randy’s tavern and restaurant in Lone Tree for 15 years. Then she worked for Rockwell Collins for 24 years. She loved the sun, enjoyed NASCAR, the Hawkeyes and swimming, and especially, spending time with her family and friends.

Patricia will be dearly missed by her husband, Randy of rural Columbus Junction; her daughters, Barbara Johnson of Columbus Junction and Amy Smith of Lone Tree; her grandson, Brock Smith; her mother-in-law, Barbara Grasham of Wapello; Sisters, Ada Davis of Madison, WI and Kathy Stoeckel and husband, Bill of House Springs, MO; brothers, Jim Pfister and wife, Mary of Iverness, FL and Ben Pfister and wife, Jane of Rock Island, IL; many nieces and nephews; and her dog Patches.
