Imogene Chrissinger

Imogene Chrissinger, 85, of Mediapolis, Iowa, died Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at the Prairie Ridge Care Center in Mediapolis. The daughter of J. Earl and Edna Robb Auld, she was born January 13, 1918, in rural Morning Sun. She was a graduate of the Morning Sun High School. On June 7, 1939, she married Harold Smokey Chrissinger in Morning Sun.

She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of Morning Sun and the UPW, the Nellie Walker Kings Daughters, and the Roscoe Club and Bridge Club.

Survivors include her husband of Roseville, Ill; one daughter, Sandra Orr of Morning Sun; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service was held Saturday at the First United Presbyterian Church in Morning Sun. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun.

Visitation was Friday at the church where the family met with friends in the evening.

Memorials have been established for First United Presbyterian Church in Morning Sun and the Mediapolis Community Ambulance.

Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis was in charge of arrangements.
