West Liberty, Iowa - Donna L. Van Acker, 70,of West Liberty, died Friday, July 27, at her home in rural West Liberty. Cremation rites were facilitated by the Family Care Services Life Transistion and Cremation Center in Muscatine. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Condolences www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. A memorial fund has been established in Donna's name.

Donna lee Hunter was born on March 3, 1942, in Muscatine, the daughter of William and Dorothy (Colberg) Hunter. On July 17, 1959, Donna married Merlin Royce Van Acker in Iowa City. Donna was a farm wife and a custodian for Muscatine schools for 32 years. She enjoyed flowers, mowing, going for motorcycle rides, fishing and traveling. Donna will be deeply missed by her son, Russ Van Acker, West Liberty; five grandchildren, Dustin and Elizabeth, Muscatine, Christopher and Abbigehl, West Liberty and Baylee of Waterloo; four great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Kaylee, Xzander and Xzavian, of Muscatine; one sister, Arlene Ricklefs (Richard), Muscatine and brother Melvin Hunter and sister Verna Cottrell, preceded her in death.
