Infant Brystol Elizabeth Runnels was stillborn at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Great River Medical Center, West Burlington, Iowa. Born on May 12, 2012, she is the daughter of Fritz A. and Jennifer L. Bodkins Runnells.

Brystol is survived by her loving parents, Fritz and Jennifer, two brothers, James and Jarrett Wykert, all of Wapello; maternal grandparents Dan and Becky Bodkins of Bloomfield; paternal grandparents Jay and Sue Runnells of Wapello and Ann and Owen Heitmeier of Mediapolis; great-grandmother Doris Bodkins of Bloomfield and great-grandparents Glen and Vadonna Dial of Ottumwa; two aunts; Crystal Fisher (Brad) of Blakesburg, IA and Jean Burchett (Nathan) of Bloomfield; one uncle, Dan Runnells (Jamie) of Wapello; cousins; Bryar, Bailey and Brody Runnells, Sterling and Autumn Burchett, Carter and Cole Fisher.

Brystol was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Hubert Bodkins and parental great-grandparents, Ralph and Martha Runnells and Carl and Lila Pierce.

The graveside funeral service and interment for Brystol was at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Edwards Cemetery, rural Oakville with Pastor Dan Doolin officiating.

A memorial was established in Brystol’s memory.
