WAPELLO — Mrs. Florence M. Harris, 87, Morning Sun, died at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Morning Sun Manor Nursing Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dudgeon McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello. Rev. Wendell Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Long Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home.
Florence Wykert was born June 10, 1890,in Louisa County, the daughter of Francis and Matilda Chrissinger Wykert.
She married Jessie Harris Nov. 23, 1910, at Wapello. She was a member of the Oakland Community Church and was a retired telephone operator.
Surviving are two sons,Hilton Harris and. Berton Harris of Morning Sun; a daughter, Marian Harris of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1928, a brother and two sisters
