Beverley J. Lorack, 76, of Columbus Junction, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at her home.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Commissioned Lay Pastor Ramona Wink officiated. Casket bearers were Wayne Humphreys, Justin Humphreys, Joe Humphreys, Brian Humphreys, Rick Causse and Robert Stout. Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 25th at the funeral home from 4-7:00 pm. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Beverley’s name. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Beverley Jean Baughman was born October 10, 1935 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Gene and Florence (Kenworthy) Baughman. On March 2, 1957 Beverley was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Lorack, Sr. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Beverley was a homemaker and belonged to the Shellbark Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, canning and raising flowers, crocheting blankets for the kids, going to the Casino, Jack Hamilton’s Steak House and the Toolesboro Indian mounds, square dancing and especially spending time with the grandchildren and attending their many activities.

Beverley will be dearly missed by her husband, Kenneth Sr. of Columbus Junction; her sons, Kenny Lorack, Jr. and wife, DeAnn of Riverside and Charles Lorack of Columbus Junction; her daughters, Sherri Genkinger of Wisconsin, Brenda Bevans and husband, Tim of Solon and Beverley Sue Finnell and husband, Chris of Winfield; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Lucille Leibert and husband, Jack of Commanche and Delores Reedy of Clinton.

Beverley was preceded in death by her parents.
