Pauline Carter Jennings, 82, died quietly in her home on November 30, 2011. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.

Pauline was born on December 14, 1928 to Richard and Florence Black Carter in London, England. She was united in marriage to Michael Jennings on September 28, 1968.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Michael; son, Andrew (Margaret) Arthur of Battle, Sussex, England; daughter, Joanna Peterson of Sacramento, Ca; sister, Doreen Carter of Battle, Sussex, England; granddaughter, Lauren Murphie Smith of Iowa City; 7 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ernest Arthur and James Walls; daughter, Jane Ann Smith; brother, Peter Carter; and grandson, Timothy Arthur.
