CHARLES CROSON DIES SUDDENLY
FATHER OF LOCAL MAN DEAD IN MISSOURI

Charles Greeley Croson, 73, who formerly farmed near Morning Sun died suddenly Tuesday at his home in Drexel, Mo. He had been ill over a long period of time.

He was born near Morning Sun on July 1872, a son of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Croson. On June 1, 1892 he was married to Ida Jones of Morning Sun who survives. He and his family moved to a farm near Drexel, Mo., about 20 years ago. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

One son, George Croson, survives in addition to his widow; also two grandsons, one great granddaughter and the following brothers and sisters: George Croson, Morning Sun; Everett Croson, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. S.H. Kline, Clarinda and Mrs. R.L. Green, Burlington. One brother and one sister are dead.

Services will be held at Drexel Friday. Burial arrangements have not been announced.

George Croson, Mrs. Kline, Mrs. Green, Cleo Croson, West Burlington, Mrs. Floyd Mason, Winfield, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Scarbar, New London and Clarence Carter, Danville, will attend the funeral.
