BLANKENSHIP, Linda Marie Howard

Linda Marie Blankenship, 38, Carriage House Apartments, Columbus Junction, died early today at Muscatine General Hospital.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon at the Donald Howard residence at Letts followed by a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. at the Independent Bible Church at Letts. The Rev. William Strickland will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. M. Wittich Lewis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blankenship was born April 11, 1950, at Muscatine, a daughter of Donald and Janet Marshall Howard. Formerly of the Grandview and Letts areas, she had lived here for five years. She married William C. Blankenship on April 30, 1982, at Reserve, La. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband, William; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Howard of Letts; three brothers, Donald Howard Jr. of Letts, Steven Howard of West Liberty; and David Howard of Columbus Junction; and two sisters, Kristy Kerr of Muscatine; and Lori Lindner of Algona. Two brothers precede her in death.
