BISHOP, Mrs. Anna May

AMBOY, Ill. - Mrs. Anna May Bishop, 86, died at her home, 43 N. Metcalf Ave, Amboy, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. She has been in failing health during the past year.

She was born in Letts, Iowa, April 25, 1865, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McMayhill. She was married to Levi Bishop Nov. 23, 1883.

Surviving are five children, Miss Leona Bishop and Lee, both of Amboy; Mrs. Mary Drawbaugh, Leonard and Oral, all of Muscatine,Iowa, and a brother, John, Grandview, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters and a son.

The body will be taken from the Mihm funeral home, Amboy, to Muscatine, Iowa, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the Fairbanks funeral home there.
