Winoka Awbrey

Winoka Awbrey, 86, formerly of Buffalo, Iowa, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at Davenport Lutheran Home.

Services are 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial is in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

She was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Wapello, Iowa, to Dan and Sarah Pike Phillips. She married Edward G. Awbrey June 17, 1939, in Davenport. He died Oct. 28, 1994.

Survivors (and spouses) are her son, Dennis (Linda), Blue Grass, Iowa; daughter, Bonnie (Stanley) Cooley, Buffalo; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
