Evelyn G. Bouquot

Evelyn Glenora Bouquot, 89, formerly of Muscatine and Wapello died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at the Morning Sun Care Center in Morning Sun. The daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Kuiatkowski Stacher, she was born July 17, 1913, in Wisconsin. She married Glenn J. Bouquot at Nashua, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1951.

She was a homemaker and had worked as a house cleaner and seamstress and also had worked at Heinz Co. in Muscatine. She had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Eagles, and Moose, all of Muscatine.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Vance of Columbus City; two sons, Alfred Bouquot of Rockford, Illinois, and Joseph Bouquot of Columbus City; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Harold Stacher and Allen Stacher, both of Muscatine, and Vern Stacher of Apache Junction, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers.

The family will gather for a viewing Thursday, June 19, at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun. A graveside committal will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Riverside Public Cemetery at Riverside.

A memorial fund has been established.
