Raymond Couchman

Raymond Vincent Couchman, 62, of Columbus Junction, died Thursday, June 5, 2003 at his home.

He was the son of Hubert and Letha (Huett) Couchman. He was born June 26, 1940 in Fort Madison, Iowa. On February 13, 1970 he married Sharon Louise Nichols in Burlington, Iowa. He was employed in maintenance for the H.J. Heinz Company for 33 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Columbus Junction, one daughter, Vickie Rose and husband, Greg of Fort Madison, Iowa; three grandchildren; two brothers, Milton Couchman of Sioux City, Iowa and Pearl Couchman of Fort Madison, Iowa and two sisters, Beverly Wilson of Omaha, Nebraska and Elaine Brown of Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

A time of remembrance will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2003 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at his home, 702 2nd Street, Columbus Junction, Iowa.
