Keith (A.J.) Eden, 50, of Lone Tree died Thursday, May 15, 2003 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City following an extended illness.

Private graveside services for A.J. will be held at a later date at the Lone Tree Cemetery. Carol Kaalberg, parish life coordinator of St. Mary’s Catholic Church will officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of A.J.

Keith Alan Eden was born January 20, 1953 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Homer (Bud) Eden Jr. and Marlene B. (Michel) Eden. He was a 1971 graduate of Columbus Junction High School. During high school, A.J. played in a band named “The Shades.” A.J. worked at the Eden Truck farm south of Lone Tree as a farmer and truck driver for the produce. He belonged to a motorcycle club.

A.J. is survived by his mother, Marlene Eden of Lone Tree and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. A.J. was preceded in death by his father, Homer (Bud) Eden.
