Lois E. Ushman

Lois E. Cary Ushman, 74, died Monday, March 10, 2003, at her home in Davenport. Lois was the daughter of Charlie E. Cary Sr. and Letha McAffee Cary, born April 21, in 1928, in Morning Sun.

In early years she was employed as a server at Bishop’s Buffet in Davenport. She was a graduate of Morning Sun High School.

Survivors include a son, Vincent of Springfield, Ill; sisters Zelda Morris, Escondido, California, Jeanne Rea, Tipton, Missouri, Baja Hogan, Richland, Mary Copeland, Fairfield, and Marlene Snyder, Muscatine; brothers, Charles E. Cary Jr., Batavia, Marvin Cary of California, James Cary of Burlington and Davie Cary of Moline, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Committal services were held Friday morning, March 14 at Fairmont Cemetery in Davenport.
