Mrs. Ellen Wilson passed away quietly at her home in Morning Sun Tuesday morning at about 3 o'clock of heart failure. She seemed to be in her usual health on retiring, but about 2 o'clock aroused her daughter, and in less than an hour had breathed her last.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Ireland February 16, 1826, and came to this country about fifty years ago, residing in New York for a few years, but has since been a resident of this county. She was an earnest and faithful member of the Reformed Presbyterian church of that place. Four daughters, Mrs. Ellen Edgar, Miss Lizzie Wilson, Miss Minnie Wilson and Mrs. Sadie Edgar mourn her loss, besides many relatives and friends.

The funeral services, conducted by her pastor, Dr. C. D. Trumbull, were held from the Reformed Presbyterian church on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment was made in Sharon cemetery.
