The Chicago Chronicle of Wednesday contained the following account of the death of O. W. Herrick, a relative of the Herrick and Jamison families of this vicinity:

"The funeral of O. W. Herrick, president of the Avenue State bank of Oak Park, who died of rheumatism of the heart at his home in the suburb after an illness of three weeks, will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Herrick came to Chicago in 1860 and was for a time a member of the general assembly of the state. Besides a widow, he is survived by three sons, Dr. James B. Herrick, vice president of the Presbyterian hospital, Willis B. Herrick, who is in the insurance business and Walter D. Herrick, an attorney. He leaves also two daughters, Mrs. B. L. Goodwillie, of Oak Park, and Miss Julia Herrick.
